Tier one β clean and coat
For teak that still sheds water but has flattened in colour. Wash, dry, one saturating maintenance coat.
Teak Cleaning Huntington Beach

Restoring teak patio sets, decking, and boat teak for Surf City homes from Downtown to Huntington Harbour.
Not everything needs a full restoration. Being told which tier you are actually in is usually the most valuable part of the estimate.

Teak Cleaning Huntington Beach
Silvered but smooth. Cleaned, sanded fine, brightened and finished in two coats. The most common job we do.
Teak Refinishing Huntington Beach
Rough, eroded, stained or blotchy. Multi-grit sanding back to sound wood, then the protection rebuilt from scratch.
Teak Restoration Huntington Beach
Neglected pieces with loose joints, splits or missing slats. Bench work first, then finishing.
Teak Repair Huntington Beach
Entire Huntington Beach terraces priced as one project β furniture, decking, gates and rails finished to match.
Outdoor Furniture Restoration Huntington Beach
An annual or biannual visit that keeps you permanently in tier one, which is always the cheapest place to be.
Teak Maintenance Huntington Beach
Knowing which stage you are at makes the estimate conversation much shorter, and often much cheaper than expected.
Colour flattening, water still beading. A clean and a maintenance coat is enough.
Grey across exposed faces, surface still smooth. Clean, light sand, refinish.
Rough texture, raised grain, some spotting. Full multi-grit sanding, then protection rebuilt.
Deep staining, checking, loose joints. Still usually restorable, but budget for carpentry.

Hand-finished
Every grain inspected, sanded and sealed by a master craftsman.
We record the condition of each piece before work starts, so the before-and-after is documented rather than described.
Stone, glass, pool coping and planting are covered. Teak dust is fine and travels, so containment is set up before any abrasive runs.
Old varnish and film finishes come off chemically. Sanding through a failed film only drives it deeper into the grain.
Coarse work flattens eroded early-wood, then finer passes close the grain without burnishing it shut.
Oil goes on until the wood stops taking it, then the excess is wiped off within the working window.
We leave the pieces to cure, then come back to buff any raised grain and reset your furniture layout.
A finish is a sacrificial layer. Its job is to be degraded by UV and water instead of the wood, which means a finish that shows wear is working exactly as intended.
What it cannot do is stop movement. Teak expands and contracts with humidity regardless of what is on it, so no product prevents seasonal checking β the best ones simply slow the moisture exchange enough to reduce it.
It also cannot fix mechanical problems. Loose joints, corroded fixings and split slats need bench work; coating over them buys one comfortable season and costs more later.
Restoration resets the clock; maintenance decides how slowly it runs down. The routine takes minutes.
Plain water removes grit before it abrades the surface. No pressure washers, ever.
Diluted dish soap and a soft brush along the grain handles almost everything.
Move cushions, planters and trays occasionally so the surface underneath can dry.
A cover over the hardest-hit item measurably extends the interval for the whole set.
A maintenance coat on a sound surface costs a fraction of a full restoration later.
Grey, blotchy, sticky and rough are four different problems. Treating them the same way is why finishes fail early.
A beautiful finish over a loose frame lasts one season. Structure is corrected before anything decorative happens.
Our sealers and marine oils are chosen to survive Huntington Beach's constant salt wind and long open-sun exposure.
We leave every Huntington Beach client a realistic maintenance interval for their exposure, not a generic annual reminder.
Huntington Beach covers a lot of ground β from the dense beach cottages near Downtown and the pier, out to the canal-front homes of Huntington Harbour, and inland to quieter tract neighborhoods near Central Park. Teak furniture ages differently across each of these pockets.
Downtown and Southside homes near Main Street and the pier take heavy, constant onshore wind and salt spray, and we see teak patio furniture in these tight beach lots gray quickly, often within a single season if left untreated.
Huntington Harbour is a different story altogether β with its network of man-made canals, we do a fair amount of work on boat teak here, from swim step trim to cockpit tables, in addition to standard patio furniture on docks and waterfront patios.
Further inland near Huntington Central Park or the Bella Terra area, homes see far less salt exposure but still deal with strong afternoon sun, and teak furniture in these neighborhoods tends to fade and dry rather than gray from moisture and salt.
Given the city's long, flat coastline and popularity for beachfront rentals, we also frequently restore teak furniture for vacation properties near the pier that see heavier day-to-day use than a typical residence.
We service Huntington Beach from Downtown and the pier area to Huntington Harbour's canal-front docks and inland neighborhoods near Central Park.
If you are just outside Huntington Beach, these are the nearby areas we cover with the same crew and schedule.
Usually yes. The limiting factor is structure, not appearance.
